Billboards vs Digital Platform: Which One Is Better For Advertising?
Billboards vs Blogs
Billboard ads are typically large posters that one sees usually when driving. Billboards are basically posters in the typical horizon or vertical layouts. Poster display ads are front-lit for visibility at night and are located in areas with high traffic volume.

- Creativity for Emotional Response
Billboard advertising is usually the advertising we see on roads and highways. In wintertime, one has to put on a number for huge baggy clothes, like fluffy jackets with winter boots. Winter is usually long in a country like Canada. We only get 4-5 months of good weather, by good I mean sunny days.
According to the most recent market data, the out-of-home advertising spending in Canada in 2019 was valued at over 919 million Canadian dollars. The market is believed to bounce back by roughly 12 to 15 percent and reach 929 million Canadian dollars by the end of 2023, by Statista.
Hence people wait for months to get that weather where they can get out of their homes with comfortable clothing. People here love to wear Denim jackets, which here we call the Canadian Tuxedo, hence I chose the main picture for this blog to display those jackets.
Blogs:
On the other hand, blogs are more mobile I would say, they are easier to look into when on phone, but it not possible for one to check for the right blog to read all the time.
Blogs also have a specific customer base where usually the older generation is not that comfortable to read on the gadgets. It is even not possible for people to drive and read, whereas Billboards are huge noticeable posters, which one cannot usually unsee.
